Job Qualifications:
? Obtained a Bachelor's or College degree in either of the following - Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related field.
? At least one to two (1-2) years working experience in Quality Assurance and/or testing;
? Must have experience in writing test cases and test scripts;
? Must have a proper understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (both Waterfall and Agile Development);
? With acceptable knowledge of QA testing tools, different test design techniques, standards and processes
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. QA Process
?Understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development
2. Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization.
? Understands various approaches used in testing such as System,
3. Integration and Regression.
? Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing test cases.
? Collaborates with Manual Quality Analyst II and/or Senior Manual Quality
4. Analyst to develop effective strategies and test plans.
? Collaborates with Manual Quality Analyst II and/or Senior Manual Quality
5. Analyst to provide test effort estimation for small and medium size projects.
? Writes Test Cases and Test Scripts and creates Test Data (if needed).
? Properly executes the given test cases / test scripts, identifies the correct behavior of the system under test, replicates and reports uncovered defects.
? Performs the activities necessary to execute tests in accordance with the test plan and test design (including setting up tests and test data).
? Tests and certifies software defect fixes and new functionality. Executes functional, application and regression tests for software releases.
? Writes clear and precise defect reports as required for identified software defects and functional defects based on testing results.
? Writes and submits Test Summary Report and/or Acceptance Test Certificate.
? Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and guidelines.
