Junior Geodetic Engineer

Assist the Chief Geodetic Engineer in the satisfactory completion of all surface survey activities such as but not limited to the following:
Establish new transverse stations and mark back sight stations as directed. Take sides' shots by means of steel tape, stadia rod or prism to relevant points or corners as directed. Updates reference maps with respect to surface properties, titles and claims. Assists in the conduct of all survey activities and other works in accordance to standard operating procedures and timetable. Checks-up his unit and reports any unusual observations to his supervisor for immediate repair. Possesses knowledge and skills in the operation of various equipment, machine and tools for the required jobs. Maintains and observes proper housekeeping, safekeeping and care of equipment and tools within the area of responsibility. Performs approved departmental continuous improvement and cos cutting program. Reports to immediate supervisors any abnormalities in operations while on duty. Observes company policies and established procedures on safety, health environment, security and quality programs in the actual performance of jobs and other undertakings. Participates in all company / departmental meetings, trainings and other developmental activities. Promotes, complies and supports Corporate Citizenship / Code of Conduct, Security, Safety and Environment awareness / policies and other Quality programs of the company. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by his / her superior. Job Type: Full-time
