If so, our Junior Finance Associate position might be the perfect launchpad for your career! We are seeking a JUNIOR FINANCE ASSOCIATE to support our Finance Department.. What's in it for you? Being part of an international team of smart and passionate colleagues. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, Dayshift. This is an office-based position in central Cebu City. The expected start date is March 2024, ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a motivated and organised Jr. Finance Associate to join us and handle day-to-day financial activities, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll.
RESPONSIBILITIES Bookkeeping Functions Perform bookkeeping duties, reconciliations, accounts payable, and other client payments. Manage incoming and outgoing mail; documentation, the administration of all entities accounts email inbox and directing Month-end closing transactions. Payroll Functions Deliver high-quality payroll customer service to staff, candidates, and clients; Ensuring all timesheets, payroll changes, records, and other related material is received prior to close of payroll run. Assist Payroll Specialist in meeting all payroll and financial weekly, monthly & quarterly deadlines. Ensure the completion of all payroll functions and procedures. Maintain records in accordance with statutory requirements. Manage incoming and outgoing mail documentation, the administration of all entity's payroll email inbox, and directing emails where needed. Follow up with our external employees on their statutory requirements i.e. tax file declarations and super details. Maintain Employee Information Activate employee payroll files. Create individual employee files and where relevant, on commencement of employment. Maintaining pay records, employee records, leave records, and related information. Ensure that relevant statutory documentation (taxation information) is completed within stated timeframes. Ensure that manual and electronic employee records are maintained. Ensure privacy and security of all employee documentation. Compliance & Other Functions Submits government reportorial requirements such as BIR, SSS, HDMF, and others within the set deadlines. Provide Clerical and other related duties. Participate in weekly meetings as set by Management. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Management or related field; At least 2 years' relevant work experience; Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures; Excellent command of written and spoken English; High attention to details and accuracy; Excellent organizational and time-management skills; Good computer skills - MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Proven experience of adapting quickly to different systems and applications. Bonus points if you have: Previous internship or work experience in finance. Familiarity with accounting software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. BSA Solutions, Inc. emphasizes in:
