Junior Accounting Internal Auditor

**Tasks, Functions, Responsibilities**

1.
Develop audit objectives, plans, and scope by reviewing available information and conducting research.
2.
Help design, implement, and maintain internal audit procedures and risk assessment processes.
3.
Prepare audit findings, write audit reports, and develop recommendations.
4.
Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards.
5.
Ensure recording of transaction is in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
6. Review of billing invoices prepared as against the summary of the contracts approved for a given month.
7.
Ensure proper recording and the recognition of revenue and the aging of trade receivables.
8.
Verify all issuances of official receipts, whether the same were recorded numerically/chronologically and deposited intact the same day to ensure that all revenues are properly accounted for.
9.
Verify all disbursements including petty cash expenses as to authorization, approval, recording, and complete substantiation.
10.
Stay current on industry trends, and best accounting and audit practices.
11.
Ensure accuracy of financial information and tax filling.
12.
To ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of BIR Compliance.
13.
Examines assigned financial reports and statement for accuracy.
14. Review of monthly bank reconciliation prepared by Property Accountant for all bank accounts.
15.
To ensure that all adjusting journal entries made are verified and properly accounted in the trial balance and in the monthly financial reports.
16.
Analyses financial data, making recommendations as appropriate to improve accuracy, efficiency, and to reduce costs.
17.
Inspects the budget and general ledger for assigned departments and accounts, ensuring that funds are available, and expenditures are assigned correctly.
18.
Follow up on audit recommendations.
19.
Identifies and recommends updates to accounting system and procedures.
20.
Performs other related duties as may be required by immediate superior from time to time

**Minimum Job Requirements**

**A.
Education**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
- Additional distinctions or certifications may be preferred

**B.
Work Experience**
- 2 years of experience in auditing in a relevant field

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Php23,000.00 per month
