MARKETING ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATIONS: JOB SUMMARY The Jr. Marketing Associate's role requires a foundational background in business management. To succeed in this role, Project Management is a key skill set. Attention to detail and proactive communication is essential. The role is the first step towards becoming a Marketing and Branding Manager, with ample opportunities for learning and specialization in creative design, events, and digital marketing. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Events PlanningEnsure that marketing requirements are properly coordinated with the Sr. Marketing Associate based on planned activities. Requests should be properly documented (specific request, budget, checklist) with approval by the Sr. Marketing Associate and Marketing Manager.Marketing ResearchMonthly updating of competitor data (i.e., Digital & Real-World Compscan) to ensure that Johndorf isalways updated about the real estate market and its competitors. Monthly collation of data from other branches.Brand MonitoringEnsure that marketing materials are properly monitored and immediately updated for any additions/ pull-outs.Vendor CoordinationClosely coordinate with external suppliers and agencies for marketing requirements.Vendor Payments MonitoringProcesses and monitors payments to external suppliers and agencies.SocMed Monitoring & Online Reputation ManagementManagement of Johndorf's social media sites, as needed.Internal Client CoordinationReceives and executes design requests from other departments to ensure brand alignment.JOB SPECIFICATIONSMarketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Commerce1-3 Years? experienceKnowledge Areas:Advertising, Marketing, Vendor Management, Events Management, Social Media Management, Brand Management;**Required Skills**:MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint); Communication Skills; Preferred Skills:Negotiation Skills; FB Insights; Google Analytics; Growth mindset; Interpersonal Communications Skills, Extrovert personality; Team player
