Location / Shift Mabalacat Office, Night Shift NOTE: You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between sales, installation, and manufacturing teams. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams to produce CAD layouts for accessibility systems, evaluating product feasibility, designing custom products, and providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of marketing collateral and maintain our CAD library to established standards. Other responsibilities: Technical Sales Support: ? Collaborate with sales and installation teams to create CAD layouts for accessibility system installations. ? Design and develop CADs for customized products and jobs, meeting specific client requirements. ? Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for custom product and job requests. ? Create detailed product drawings and models for marketing materials, including catalogs, brochures, websites, and portals. Manufacturing Support; ? Design and produce shop/fabrication drawings for custom products and jobs ? Provide manufacturing teams with fixture design support to improve production efficiency Product and CAD Library Management:
? Maintain the product and CAD library according to established standards, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all teams. Product Development Collaboration:
? Collaborate closely with the Product Development Engineer, contributing technical expertise from ideation stages to the generation of final production CADs. Qualifications Required:
? Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for creating detailed drawings and layouts. ? Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to assess product feasibility and propose solutions. ? Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with sales, installation, manufacturing, and product development teams. ? Attention to detail to ensure accurate CAD documentation and manufacturing guidance. ? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Preferred: ? Familiarity with accessibility systems or related products ? Understanding of aluminum fabrication (i.e., welding, chemical and mechanical fastening), plastics and metal machining ? Knowledge of industrial materials (i.e., plastics, metals, composite materials)? Previous involvement in maintaining CAD libraries and product documentation. Core Attributes:
