JAMF ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Jamf Administrator to manage and support our organization's macOS environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining MacOS devices while ensuring seamless operations across systems. This role requires deep expertise in Jamf Pro and Apple device management, along with strong troubleshooting skills to support end users and maintain system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
macOS Deployment and Management:
Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices, ensuring systems are optimized and up-to-date.
Implement updates and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption for users.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide first and second-level support for macOS-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Troubleshoot complex macOS issues and collaborate with users to minimize downtime.
Jamf Administration:
Utilize Jamf Pro to manage Apple devices, including deploying configuration profiles, managing software updates, and applying security protocols.
Ensure macOS devices comply with security policies and best practices.
Best Practices:
Implement and maintain industry best practices for macOS system security, deployment, and management.
Stay updated with the latest macOS and Jamf features and implement them as necessary.
Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
Collaboration:
Work closely with IT teams, including networking, security, and support teams, to ensure efficient operation of systems.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience with macOS deployment, updating, troubleshooting, and management.
Strong working knowledge of Jamf Pro in a professional environment.
Familiarity with Apple best practices for device management and security.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex macOS issues.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a managed IT services environment.
Certifications related to Apple or Jamf technologies (e.g., Jamf 200 or higher, Apple Certified Support Professional).
Experience with other device management tools or enterprise IT environments.
