It Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:IT Technical Support is responsible for the day-to-day support of IT-related systems, hardware, software, network, databases & systems to ensure that the company's IT needs are consistently running in an efficient manner.Job Responsibilities:•Maintain, monitor, and improve security of network infrastructure to ensure computer networks operate efficiently and meet businessrequirements.•Perform day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of all facets of information technology, network, and connectivity •infrastructure, such as WIFI installation and configuration, hardware inventory, and database maintenance.•Maintain computer units and other technology equipment by preparing service reports, coordinating on parts or items required for repair or replacement, and sourcing computer-related products, services, and equipment.•Ensure the safekeeping of anti-virus software licenses, firewall licenses, Windows OS licenses, MS Office licenses, and all other software licenses and related materials for the physical network infrastructure, cables, switches, routers, computers, and servers.•Evaluate and recommend upgrades of hardware or software to support the changing needs of the company.•Assist in maintaining computer-related inventory by developing and maintaining an asset inventory of such items.•Perform and schedule preventive maintenance and maintain/update the consolidated preventive maintenance report.•Coordinate with third-party vendors/suppliers of computer/internet connectivity related services.•Monitor fixed asset movements through proper inventory, tagging, transfer, storage, and disposal to ensure the security of items and accuracy of records.•Perform other administrative tasks such as ID creation, computer workstation setup, etc.Job Requirements:•Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or any related course•At least two (2) years relevant working experience as IT Hardware/Technical Support•Background and knowledge on basic Networking Administration•Familiarity with software & hardware interfaces and ability to update technical knowledge and skills•Flexible, team player, enthusiastic and has initiative•Goal-oriented, can work with minimal supervision and keen to deadlines•Amenable to work in Pasig City and can start ASAP
