We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Office 365 and cloud services, configuring network infrastructure, administering firewall systems, and implementing security controls. The ideal candidates possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with a proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing network or security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Office 365 and Cloud Services Support: Manage Office 365 and Azure/AWS services for clients by provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation.Network Infrastructure Support: Configure and manage routing and switching infrastructure to optimize network performance, enhancing connectivity and efficiency.Firewall Support: Administer firewall systems, including configuration, rule creation, and troubleshooting, to safeguard client networks and data.Security Controls Implementation: Assist in implementing security controls and practices according to ISO 27001 standards to fortify client systems against potential threats.Domain DNS Management: Support domain DNS management to ensure smooth functioning of client systems, maintaining accessibility and reliability.Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to clients, resolving complex issues independently to ensure uninterrupted operations and client satisfaction.Collaborative Solutions: Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality IT solutions and support services, fostering teamwork and efficiency.Technology Trends Monitoring: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions and remain competitive in the market.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.2-3 years of experience in a technical support role within an MSP or similar environment.Proficiency in managing Office 365 and Azure/AWS services.Experience in routing and switching technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting.Firewall management experience, preferably with Cisco Meraki or Watchguard.Proficiency in ISO 27001 standards and experience implementing security controls and practices.Experience managing domain DNS.Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent preferred.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Attributes: Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and precision in support activities.Proactive attitude towards identifying potential network or security vulnerabilities and implementing preventive measures.Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and client needs.Strong technical background with expertise in IT infrastructure support.Effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.Collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members and clients.Dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
