Position Summary
The IT Specialist is in charge of providing daily Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) support, as well as technical services for business unit-related hardware, software, website, and applications. Conducts service desk tasks to guarantee the efficient and successful provision of IT services, such as the implementation of IT solutions, adherence to corporate standards, utilization of IT tools appropriately, educating users on a regular basis, and guaranteeing appropriate monitoring and control of IT assets (hardware and application/software licenses).
Responsibilities
Manages and updates the company websiteProvides input on software development projectsDesigns and develops the most effective solution that meets both specification requirements and future anticipated needsBuilds and sustains positive and productive working relationships with the organizational teamUnderstands business changes and uses them to prioritize the development agenda for the systemsDiagnoses hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues including LAN, WAN, and VPN access in a Windows 10 environment, offering a variety of level 1 to 2 solutions over the phone, via chat, or email. Uses remote control tools to assist customers when needed.Anticipates company needs and proactively identifies solutions. Complies with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary, or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Electronics EngineeringFresh graduates are welcome to applyPreferably for those who reside in Taguig or nearby areas Competencies: Strategic and analytical thinkingKnowledge in IT infrastructureSystems Development or ImplementationServer Management and AdministrationStrong communication skills
