**JOB MISSION**

This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the computer systems as well as the networks within an organization.
Dealing directly with employees or customers who have technical issues such as forgotten passwords, viruses, or Internet issues.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks.
- Talks staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Troubleshoots system and network problems and diagnoses and solves hardware or software faults.
- Replaces parts as required.
- Provides support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Follows diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
- Sets up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Responds within agreed time limits to call-outs.
- Works continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
- Prioritizes and manages many open cases at one time.
- Rapidly establishes a good working relationship with coworkers and other professionals.
- Tests and evaluates new technology.
- Conducts electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
