It Service Desk Associate

Job Summary:
The Service Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for IT support, managing the IT support system and addressing initial troubleshooting for concerns raised by various business units. This role supports both the Business Systems and Technical Services teams, reporting directly to both team managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

User Support:
Provide consistent first-line support for users of computer applications.
Escalate issues to the respective Business Systems Analyst, Technical Team, or service providers for advanced troubleshooting as needed.
Technical Coordination:
Monitor scheduled system jobs and ensure site availability.
Handle technical issues with service providers for second-line support.
Ticket Management:
Manage manual and automated ticketing systems, ensuring timely response and resolution of all concerns.
System Monitoring:
Regularly review system performance and availability.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related course (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology).
Basic knowledge of common hardware and software systems in the IT industry.
Analytical and thorough understanding of network administration and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-player mindset.
Passionate about IT support and problem-solving.
Willing to work onsite in Libis, Quezon City.
Non-smoker preferred.
