This includes ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT operations, supporting the properties technological needs, and aligning IT strategies with corporate goals. The IT Manager works closely with various departments to optimize technology solutions that enhance guest experiences and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: IT Infrastructure Management:Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.Ensure the reliability and availability of the hotel's IT systems, including property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems.Cybersecurity and Data Protection:Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect hotel data and systems from threats.Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and corporate IT security standards.Technical Support:Provide technical support to staff and guests, resolving IT-related issues promptly.Maintain a helpdesk system to track and address technical problems effectively.System Optimization and Upgrades:Evaluate existing IT systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.Plan and execute technology projects, including system implementations and updates.Collaboration and Training:Work closely with department heads to identify and address technology needs.Provide training to employees on the use of IT systems and best practices.Budget and Vendor Management:Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement of hardware, software, and services.Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT-related products and support.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and assets.Prepare regular reports on IT performance and project progress for management.
