It Infrastructure Intern

Position OverviewThe IT Infrastructure Intern assists the IT Infrastructure Team in monitoring the network and systems of the company. The Intern assists with any inventory documentation for PCI requirements including mapping Network Topology using the Visio application or any network drawing application. Other responsibilities will also be entrusted to them in pursuit of the team's goal to efficiently manage the technology and tools used by the company.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:System and Infrastructure Management- Assists the Network and System Administrator- Conducts the monitoring of systems and network- Helps and assists in helpdesk and infrastructure concerns- Helps create documentation for workflows, knowledge bases, and processesAsset Management- Assists the Inventory Management team- Sources vendors for asset procurement- Creates comparative analysis documents of products/vendorsAdditional Duties:- Helps the IT Infrastructure Team in other clerical/administrative tasks- Generates reports, assists and performs other official work as instructed by the immediate supervisor
