It Infrastructure Intern

Position Overview
The IT Infrastructure Intern assists the IT Infrastructure Team in monitoring the network and systems of the company. The Intern assists with any inventory documentation for PCI requirements including mapping Network Topology using the Visio application or any network drawing application. Other responsibilities will also be entrusted to them in pursuit of the team's goal to efficiently manage the technology and tools used by the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
System and Infrastructure Management
Assists the Network and System AdministratorConducts the monitoring of systems and networkHelps and assists in helpdesk and infrastructure concernsHelps create documentation for workflows, knowledge bases, and processes
Asset Management
Assists the Inventory Management teamSources vendors for asset procurementCreates comparative analysis documents of products/vendors Additional Duties: Helps the IT Infrastructure Team in other clerical/administrative tasksGenerates reports, assists and performs other official work as instructed by the immediate supervisor
