**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Diagnose and resolves technical hardware and software issues
Research questions using available information resources
Follow standard help desk procedures
Log all help desk interactions
Administer help desk software
Redirect problems to correct resource
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
Prepare activity reports
Inform management of recurring problems
Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Authority to identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Authority to advise user on appropriate action
Participates in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems, problem solving and performance monitoring through participation in standing and ad hoc committees, task forces and project teams.
Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and / or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:
Bachelor's/College degree preferably Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology or any other related fields
Solid foundation of technical skills with proficiency in computer system engineering and project management experience involving a large packaged system implementation
At least 3 years of Helpdesk.
Experience is required with at least 2 years hands on in computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience
Strong background in Microsoft Products Platform
Solid understanding of service desk concepts, working knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations and has experience with virtual devices, wireless technology, and anti-spam and anti-virus systems, RF devices, printers etc.
Solid understanding of Microsoft products
Well-organized and detail-oriented in approach to work.
Client service focused professional with emphasis in serving both internal and external customer.
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively deal end-users.
Must be a team player
Good in problem solving and analysis
