The IT Director will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the organization's technology infrastructure operations and cybersecurity efforts. This role ensures that all IT systems, digital platforms, and initiatives align with business objectives, improve operational efficiencies, and promote innovation. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the IT Director will shape the company's technology vision, oversee risk management and compliance, and cultivate an agile, high-performance IT culture that delivers exceptional service and results.

Key Responsibilities: Formulate and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business growth objectives, innovation goals, and evolving industry trends.Provide executive leadership on technology investments, digital transformation projects, and strategic partnerships.Establish IT governance policies, frameworks, and best practices based on COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards to ensure efficiency and alignment across all operations.Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, AI, cloud, and data analytics to enhance business performance and enable competitive advantage.Cybersecurity & Risk Management Oversee the company's cybersecurity strategy, implementing advanced measures to safeguard data, systems, and networks from threats.Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations.Lead incident response planning and business continuity strategies, ensuring quick recovery from disruptions and minimal impact on operations.Identify opportunities to modernize IT infrastructure and leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve efficiency and customer experience.Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions, enterprise systems, and data platforms that align with future business needs.Champion a culture of continuous innovation, identifying and executing transformative projects that drive business agility and resilience.Develop, manage, and optimize the IT department's budget, ensuring financial transparency and alignment with business priorities.Lead the evaluation, selection, and management of IT vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to performance metrics and service level agreements.Monitor technology investments to ensure ROI and recommend adjustments to maximize the impact of IT resources.Team Leadership & Organizational Development Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, promoting continuous professional development through certifications.Conduct talent assessments and succession planning to ensure organizational stability and future leadership readiness.Foster a collaborative, performance-driven work environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and professional growth.Operational Excellence & Service Delivery Ensure 24/7 availability of mission-critical systems and services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and integrations with minimal business disruption, coordinating with relevant stakeholders across departments.Implement robust monitoring and reporting frameworks to measure operational performance and proactively address any potential issues.Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's Degree is preferred.10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years at a senior or director level managing enterprise-wide IT functions.Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives and integrating emerging technologies.In-depth knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards.Required Certifications:CISA - Certified Information Systems AuditorCISSP - Certified Information Systems Security ProfessionalITIL Foundation CertificationPMP - Project Management Professional or equivalent certificationTechnical expertise in: Cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across departments and at the C-suite level.Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to remain seated and work with digital tools and systems for extended periods.Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs) may be required.Able to thrive in high-pressure environments, particularly during system outages, migrations, or cybersecurity incidents.
