Job Summary:
The IT Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding IT systems, including servers and networks, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client's information assets. They stay updated on regulatory changes, security threats, and technology developments to create and uphold security policies and standards, ensuring compliance across the organization. Additionally, they play a role in developing and updating IT security programs, establishing procedures for system access, and identifying potential security risks.

The IT Security Officer works to protect IT assets from both internal and external security threats and plays a crucial role in maintaining the security of client's IT environment. They also ensure that system users are well-informed about their security responsibilities before being granted access to client's information systems.


QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- IT-related security certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Security/IT Audit positions
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure related to security which includes hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to identify any vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the IT system.
- Advanced analytical, logical reasoning skills, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and provide solutions to problems with ease.
- Skilled in mentoring and leading high-performing teams
- Proficient in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technically independent with initiative
