Job Summary: As an Invoice Processing Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing invoices, ensuring that all financial transactions are completed in a timely and compliant manner. Your role will contribute to the company's overall financial stability and support our department in managing accounts payable. You will
work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless invoice processing
as well as create reporting and status for forecasting purposes.
Essential functions: Invoice Verification: Review and validate incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures while processing them in our Invoice Management System Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to track invoice processing metrics, identify process improvements, and optimize payment cycles. Vendor Communication: Maintain regular communication with vendors to address invoice discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and build positive vendor relationships. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and disputes related to invoices, working with both internal and external stakeholders. Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, payment details, and related documents. Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the invoice processing workflow. Qualifications: Bachelor'sdegree required. Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in invoice processing, accounts payable, or a related financial role. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
