Investment Operations Senior Assistant

Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role: Duties and Responsibilities: The Investment Operations Senior Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day preparations of trade instructions to counterparties to facilitate investment related transactions.She/He will validate accuracy and keep records of investment transactions, which are inputs for Finance bookkeeping and recording.She/He will prepare or otherwise assist in preparing investment reports for Investment Management Head & other stakeholders.She/He will help in the User Acceptance Testing for the set up and maintenance of the investment management system.As necessary, she/he will also provide back-up coverage for investment operations officer function.She/Hewill coordinate with Unit-linked Funds' fund manager in ensuring that unit-linked funds are within risk limits and compliant to the Investment Policy Statements.She/He will be responsible for coordinating with Risk and Finance for required reports.Essential Skills / Qualifications: University degree in Finance, Business & AccountingProfessional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or investments is a plusMinimum 2 years working experience in investment or accounting functionWork experience in life insurance industry is a plusGood communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft applications, especially ExcelResult-oriented, self-motivated organized
