Inventory Audit Officer – Job Post

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Audit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management processes, conducting audits, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records through regular audits and assessments in compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct Inventory Audits:
o Perform physical inventories of items to ensure that they are accurately recorded and valued for financial reports.
o Performing cycle audits to ensure that the company is accurately recording inventory costs in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Analyze Discrepancies:
o Analyze inventory data and generate reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
o Inspecting warehouses to ensure that inventory levels are in line with company standards and assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
o Prepares and reports audit findings to management to ensure that problems encountered during the audit are resolved.
• Reporting:
o Reviewing all transaction records to ensure that all items are accounted for and maintain up-to-date inventory records in the system.
o Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, including inventory variances, trends and recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance Monitoring:
o Ensure adherence to internal to internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Training and Support:
o Assist in training the warehouse team in ensuring to maintain and support proper inventory of all items and in warehouse management
o To develop and implement best practices for inventory management and control.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any Business course related to
• Experience: Minimum of 3-year experience in inventory audit is preferred; Minimum 5-year experience on the same role is required.
• Skills: Has time management, strong organizational skills, with strong and clear communication skills both oral and written, has strong business acumen, strong mathematical skills, and in good physical condition.
• Willing to work in Cubao, Quezon City.
• Working Condition: Work may be performed in a warehouse.
