Qualifications: With a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. (CPA is an advantage)At least 5 years of post-qualification working experience, including 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.Results-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsAdvanced computer literacy skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
The role holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the Internal Audit Unit
of the organization, to ensure effective and efficient internal control systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Periodically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organizationConduct performance audit and special audit investigations as and when necessary, or upon request by an appropriate authority;Liaise with all departments within the organization to ensure effective and efficient auditing of operations.Coordinate audit activities with external auditors;Recommend changes in policies and procedures in a way that shall impact positively on the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Internal Audit Department in the organizationUndertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Review and update the plan, as necessary, in response to changes in the Company's business, risks, operations, programs, systems, and controls.Make a balanced assessment of all the relevant circumstances and not be unduly influenced by their own interests or by others in forming judgments.Evaluating the reliability and integrity of information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such information.Prepare written reports following the conclusion of each engagement and recommend appropriate recipient of reports.Responsible for appropriate follow-up on engagement findings and recommendations. All significant findings will remain in an open issues file until cleared.
