This role provides a unique opportunity for aspiring public relations professionals to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of entertainment marketing. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the public relations function and will be exposed to various aspects of integrated marketing.
Responsibilities: Daily Media Monitoring Monitor and analyse media coverage related to Disney+ and Disney Studios and relevant industry trendsCompile daily reports as neededPR Campaigns Develop and execute PR campaigns for upcoming Disney+ content releases and Walt Disney Studios theatrical releasesAssist in creation and/or management of press materials including press releases, media kits, EDMs, assetsWork with local PR agencies to ensure campaigns adhere to timelinesRelationship Building Cultivate and manage relationships with media and influencersSupport coordination of press events, junkets and other on-ground activitiesCross-functional Collaboration Work closely with other teams within Disney Entertainment such as social media to ensure cohesive integrated marketing effortsInternship Requirements: Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degreeStill an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship periodMust be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2025Indicate your internship availability (start and end date) in your resumeIndicate your expected graduation date in your resumeIndicate your marketing portfolio link in your resume and application (if any)Requirements: Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related fieldInterest or knowledge of The Walt Disney Company's key brands - Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and StarHighly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for communicationsAbility to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environmentStrong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teamsSelf-starter that needs minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectationsFamiliarity with social media platforms and trendsCreative thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in MS Office and KeynoteExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishAbility to utilize media monitoring tools will be a plusThe Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
