The Design Management Assistant/Associate - Interior Design supports managing the project by coordinating and supervising all the requirements and deliverables submitted coming from the team. Duties involve meeting and coordination with stakeholders, review material and FFE specifications, research and material sourcing, monitor project schedule and quality of work, supervise and review all information related to the project. Control documents and drawings inflow and outflow. He/ She is also responsible on the generation of interior designs and drawings for hospitality, F&Bs, retail, offices and other BU of the conglomerate. He/she is responsible to give update and proper written report to give his Interior Design Supervisor and Senior Interior Design Manager/ Design Manager with full picture of work progress, current situation and issues to be resolved by the team. KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: DESIGN MANAGEMENT (DESIGN AND PLAN REVIEW) Review and refer ID works associated with building construction or improvement projects Design projects and/or review architectural or engineering plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws and regulations Review supplier shop drawings/SCMs alternatives and PR/CM quantity take off Provide sketches, designs or design recommendations on design issues raised. DESIGN Generate Concept Design for various business units of the conglomerate Generate Technical Drawings for Bid Documentations and For Construction Drawings Preparation of FFE and Material Specifications Preparation of Mood Boards and Material Boards PROJECT AND BUDGET COORDINATION Conduct meeting and coordinate with consultants and other departments essential to the project to clarify and resolve issues and concerns Set-up/conduct the design coordination and attend to the construction RFIs and or design issues Conduct regular follow-ups and status meetings with concerned departments Process and implement budget coordination with Cost Planning Group and/or external consultants Analyze and understand the budget set-up for the project assigned to work only within the agreed budget Consolidate and review submitted bid packages in accordance with approved concept and design DESIGN AUDIT Advise contractors on the interpretation of plans and recommend changes as needed Monitor project schedule, conduct periodic site inspection and punch listing before project turn-over to Create time table for project constructionPrepares technical reports, progress reports, special studies and cost estimates for the projects
