Purpose of the Position Instrument & Automation Engineer is accountable for efficient and high quality of planning, organizing, and implementing of Instrumentation & Automation preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance to ensure safety, availability, reliability, of all process instrumentation, plant control system of Linde Plants.
Principal Responsibilities Ensures equipment availability and maintain high efficiency by implementing a good preventive and predictive maintenance program on all process instrument equipment. Achieve sound instrumentation & automation engineering design by following good engineering standards. Project management and supervision of onsite projects, joint ventures project and plant improvement projects. Develop subordinate staff of other department/site to be more effective by identifying training requirements and make plans then implement them and conduct training. Controls unnecessary loss by formulating and implementing policies and guidelines. Ensures that all operations and activities are well planned and organized to meet customer's needs. Execute and implement all minor engineering change and audit findings to ensure Compliance to SHEQ requirements. Required Skills (Functional / Technical) Knowledge in digital control system, operation & maintenance. Knowledge in microprocessor base instrument & control system. Knows how to interpret Electrical wiring diagram. Knows how to interpret P&ID. Knowledge on various instrumentation and electrical testing equipment. Computer literacy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Required Qualification / Experience Three (3) years working experience as an Instrument Technician or Engineer in an industrial, petrochemical plant, power plant, industrial plant & the like. One (1) year actual experience in troubleshooting & repair of instrument and control system. One (1) year actual experience in process instrumentation calibration. Driving skills. Job Type: Full-time
