Position Overview RecruitGo is in search of an Insolvency Supervisor who will be working with our client based in Australia. Our client is a boutique corporate advisory, recovery, and insolvency firm providing specialist advice to the SME market.
Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, has excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to deal sensitively with individuals in financial distress, and has ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities You will play a crucial role in supporting our insolvency practitioners and wider team in managing and administering a portfolio of insolvency cases.
This position requires a detail-oriented professional with an understanding of insolvency procedures, or a willingness to learn, and excellent organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in an insolvency or closely related role, demonstrating a proactive approach and the ability to handle complex cases efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the management and administration of a portfolio of insolvency cases, including but not limited to, CVLs, MVLs, VA's & SBR's Prepare statutory documentation and reports in compliance with insolvency legislation and best practices Liaise with creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve queries Conduct financial analyses and investigations to identify and realize assets for the benefit of creditors Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of case files and records Support the insolvency practitioners in the planning and execution of insolvency procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field 1-3 years' experience in insolvency Understanding of the legal and financial aspects of insolvency procedures Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to deal sensitively with individuals in financial distress Proficiency in insolvency software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why RecruitGo?
