Responsibilities: Oversee the organization's security program by working closely with IT, Audit & senior management to ensure alignment of all security initiatives. Assist in aligning, developing and maintaining the information security policies under the guidance from senior management. Participate in security risk assessments, including 3rd party vendor assessments, to determine potential exposures and recommend risk mitigation solutions Assist in implementing key metrics to measure the effectiveness and compliance of the security program and provide updates to senior management. Coordinate with security and system administrators to ensure effective implementation of security controls to information systems. Assist in deploying and managing the company's Information Security Awareness Program. Help develop security awareness materials for employees. Support coordination with the Business Continuity Team during testing and disaster recovery exercises. Ensure security measures are followed during business continuity activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in information security, project management, system administration, or a related field. Experience in a financial institution is a plus. Basic knowledge of information security principles and NIST/ISO27001 standards. Familiarity with modern operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11, Linux) and databases (MS SQL, Oracle). Understanding of network security devices like firewalls, secure web gateways, email security, and antimalware software. Preferred certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified, Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Associate, or GIAC certifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Basic project coordination abilities; Effective communication and Presentation skills. Dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and capable of handling sensitive information responsibly. Must be willing to work full time onsite in Makati City.
