Industry Development Manager

Lead and manage a group of GMNC Account Managers to achieve and exceed targeted performance such as revenue, profitability, service quality. Participate in industry sales strategy setting. Offer full range of express and logistics solutions; liaise with GCS, DGM, DESC and DGF when appropriate.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior management teams Close business deals and provide tailored solutions Act as an integration point for customers within DHL Provide country-specific knowledge and participate in industry related strategy setting Liaise to ensure the most cost and time effective non-sales support Liaise to ensure consistency of approach for each relevant industry/ customer Support their management of designated GCS/MNC customers People Management Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department. Plan, organize and direct an efficient and effective functional department. Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance. Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets: recruit, train, coach, motivate and develop.
