Scope & Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to customs regulations and trade laws for all imports and exports.Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.Monitor the movement of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any logistics issues.Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to coordinate shipment schedules and resolve operational issues.Identify potential risks related to shipments, customs delays, or regulatory changes, and develop strategies to mitigate them.Provide support to customers regarding shipment status, customs requirements, and documentation inquiries.Prepare reports on import/export activities, including volume trends, compliance metrics, and operational performance.Evaluate current processes and recommend enhancements to streamline operations and improve efficiency.Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariff codes, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and efficient customs clearance.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Customs Administration, Management, or a related field.At least 5 years of relevant experience in this field.Critical thinking, results-oriented, oral and written communication skills, customer focus and service orientation, and team collaboration abilities.Knowledge of Customs Management, CAO, Freight and Cargo Forwarding, Tariff Codes, and INCO Terms. Preferred Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with internal departments, suppliers, and external service providers.
