Hydrologist

Qualifications
-Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field
-Preferably licensed professional
-With at least 3 years of experience in hydrological analysis, modeling and design.
-Hands-on experience running computer-aided models
-Familiarity with writing reports and giving presentations

Duties and Responsibilities
-Estimate water properties (e.g. volume, mass)
-Analyze water and soil samples and measure contamination levels
-Measure environmental impact of erosion, droughts and floods
-Run computer-aided models to analyze data
-Producing written reports based on research findings.
-Responsible for the preparation of Hydrologic Analyses
-Assist in the conduct of a Hydrographic Survey
-Provide hydrological inputs including an estimate of runoff discharge to the sub-project areas and their tributaries for the planning and design of projects.
