We have a great opportunity for a HVAC Design (Mechanical) Engineer, based in the Philippines as part of a workshare team, remotely assisting our UAE office.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsible for coordinating and facilitating Quality in their Operating Region, while supporting initiatives of the Quality Manager, as per the Region's Quality Plan. Perform design projects including analysis, evaluation, design reports, calculations, and drawings for projects that will be assigned in accordance with standards and GHD procedures. Apply technical engineering techniques and methods using international design standards such as BSEN, ASHRAE, NFPA, and HVAC design Codes in support not only of Middle East projects but also of Philippines, and international projects within GHD. Present engineering solutions for discussion during concept and schematic design stages, and prepare concept, scheme design, and detailed design reports. Oversee and supervise the project's design and drawing preparation. Conduct internal reviews and quality checks of engineering drawings and design calculations to ensure compliance with the project's requirements. Participate in tender and contract administration. Deliver technically sound and complete design documentation. What you will bring to the team: Minimum 10 years' design experience Experience in Middle East projects is preferred Extensive experience in engineering and design of HVAC systems Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors, including high-rise, commercial, residential, retail, Healthcare, Industrial, refurbishment, etc. Knowledge of heat load calculation, and design software such as HAP, IES etc. Knowledgeable in BIM360 and Revit Detailed knowledge of international design standards, BSEN, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc. This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City , or in our office in Cebu , depending on your home base/location.
