Responsibilities: HR STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT Collaborate with leadership to create and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Assess and analyze the overall organizational climate, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Provide strategic advice on compensation-related matters, such as equity programs and total rewards strategies. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Actively research and stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in employee engagement and retention. Collaborate with the CEO to develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees. HR POLICIES AND PROCESS AND LABOR LAW COMPLIANCE Serving as a trusted adviser in ensuring managers and employees on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievance procedures and employment-related legal matters. Manage complex employee relations issues, resolve conflicts, and conduct investigations. Ensure the company's policies and practices align with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Shapes and implements HR policies and compliance frameworks. Leads audits and investigations to ensure adherence to policies. Actively participates in industry associations and contributes to thought leadership. ONBOARDING PROCESS AND COMPLIANCE Oversee the onboarding of new employees, fostering a positive experience to minimize attrition within the first year. Conduct an engaging orientation program introducing new hires to the company's mission, values, and culture. Facilitate presentations from key team members and departments to provide new employees with a holistic understanding of the organization. Establish a mentorship or buddy program where experienced employees guide new hires through their initial weeks, providing support and answering questions to ease their transition. Encourage open communication between mentors and mentees to foster a sense of belonging and community. Schedule regular one-on-one check-ins with new hires during their first six months to discuss their experiences, address concerns, and gather feedback on the onboarding process. OFFBOARDING PROCESS AND COMPLIANCE Conduct thorough exit interviews to understand the reasons for departure and gather feedback on the employee's experience within the organization. Use insights gained from exit interviews to identify trends and areas for improvement in retention strategies. Ensure that all necessary documentation related to the employee's departure, including final pay and benefits information, is completed accurately and on time. Provide departing employees with a clear outline of their rights and responsibilities and any post-employment benefits. Foster a culture of goodwill by encouraging departing employees to stay connected with the organization, potentially as alumni or through professional networks. Reinforce the message that the company values their contributions and wishes them success in their future endeavors. COACHING AND TRAINING Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs related to HR policies, labor laws, and employee rights. Gather feedback through surveys and focus groups to pinpoint knowledge gaps among employees and management. Collaborate with the L&D team to design and implement targeted training programs covering key HR policies, such as anti-discrimination, employee benefits, and essential Philippine labor laws, including the Labor Code, minimum wage regulations, and termination procedures. Collaborate with legal experts to ensure that training content is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with current legislation. Establish a coaching framework to support managers and supervisors in effectively communicating and enforcing HR policies and labor laws within their teams. Facilitate one-on-one coaching sessions that focus on practical applications of policies, helping leaders navigate complex situations involving employee relations, disciplinary actions, and compliance issues. Promote a culture of continuous learning regarding HR policies and labor laws by encouraging employees to participate in workshops, seminars, and online courses related to compliance and ethical practices. Provide access to up-to-date resources, including policy manuals and legal updates, to empower employees to stay informed about their rights and responsibilities. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND DATA ANALYTICS Generate reports on HR metrics, providing insights to management for informed decision-making. Leverage HR technology and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in HR operations. Maximizes the functionality and capabilities of HRIS platforms through process reengineering, integration with other systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. Stays abreast of new HR technologies and trends, evaluates their potential impact on HRIS, and recommends innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and data-driven decision-making. Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, measure program effectiveness, and identify improvement areas. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in human resources to enhance business effectiveness. Analyzing workforce demographics and turnover rates to make informed decisions about talent management and retention, ensuring smooth employee and client experience and minimizing disruptions. Analyzing data related to representation, pay equity, and employee experiences across demographics enables the organization to identify improvement areas, address disparities, and create an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes positive employee and client experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least five (5) years in a managerial role. Solid knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations of the Philippines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on process improvement and efficiency. Proficient in HR technology and automation tools; experience with HRIS systems is a plus. A nurturing and supportive approach to employee engagement and development.
