Job Description
Support Hub Manager to deliver the most reliable hub services by focusing on simplifying, standardizing and fine tuning hub processes.
Focus on improving processes, facilitate issue resolution, and manage hub operational costs, enhancing productivity & operational efficiency.
**Role scope includes (but not limited) the following**:
- Planning
- Tactical hub planning in terms of resources (manpower, equipment, space, etc) in line with fluctuation of weekly/monthly volume.
- Reporting
- Working closely with Area Hub Manager on matters related to hub operations.
- Establish & keeping track daily/weekly/monthly hub performance report in terms of its services, productivity, efficiency & cost.
- Update the Daily Dashboard & conduct daily pre-work briefing to share performance trending, giving & getting feedback from hub staff.
- Establishing good communication and good relationship with internal & external parties.
- Analyzing
- Analyze issues & work closely with the Supervisor / Hub Manager for corrective & preventive solutions.
- Optimizing
- Assisting Hub Supervisor in managing hub operational processes, compliance & process optimization.
- Simplifying & standardizing hub processes for better compliance & improve services.
- Working closely with Hub Supervisor & support optimizing programs towards achieving better productivity, efficiency, unit cost & possible expansion of coverage.
- Compliance
- Monitor & ensure full compliance of hub operational policies & processes.
- Cost Management
- Monitor & update hub operational performance in terms of its service, cost, productivity & efficiency.
- Leadership Culture
- Working closely with Hub Supervisor to initiate staff development programs in terms of identifying training needs & people development strategies.
- Manage & evaluate staff performance & development.
- Coaching & motivating team members.
Job Requirements
- At least 3-5 years working experience in Logistics/Hub working environment, working experience in courier working environment would be an advantage
- Minimum diploma or equivalent experience in Logistics/Hub industry.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word & vision
- Good knowledge in optimization processes (LEAN or Kaizen Methodology)
- Strong background in managing people/staff in multiple levels

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- Ability to lead & coordinate daily hub activities/processes and committed to get the job done.
