Under the supervision of the Organization Capability and Succession Section Head, the HR Officer I will assist in designing and implementing organization development projects in the University.
The HR Officer I shall also provide administrative and logístical support for the projects and activities of the section.
Main
**Responsibilities**:
Administrative Support Functions
Assists in monitoring, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all the Section's projects, keeping track of the deliverables, timelines, agreements, including possible sustainability measures.
Ensures all accountabilities are delivered, including payments to suppliers and contractors
Recommends improvements in the Section's systems, processes, and programs.
Provides real time updates on various projects the section is handling.
Assists in communicating the programs of the Section to unit heads and employees.
Keeps the project team abreast of developments, when necessary.
Coordinates and provides logístical requirements of the section's projects and activities.
Documents all meetings, proceedings, and events of the section's projects and activities; and drafts comprehensive reports for submission to the supervisors.
Data Gathering and Program Administration
Looks for reference materials related to career, succession, and organization development, and summarizes key points for the section heads.
Assists in gathering data to determine needs and evaluate initiatives, from administration of questionnaires to documentation of sessions.
Consolidates data gathered into logical themes.
Prepares initial analysis of the data gathered, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of generated information and reports.
Makes recommendations and initiates plans to address identified organizational gaps.
Drafts presentation materials, and recommending the most effective method of communicating the content to various audience.
Assists in facilitating workshops, upon the instruction of the supervisor.
Organization and Job Design
Assists in reviewing the effectiveness of an organizational unit, proposing job designs, processes, and systems that can bring about optimal results for the unit to achieve its mandates, based on the inputs gathered from its stakeholders and data from industry practices.
Works with the Workforce Strategy and Branding Section in ensuring that all job levels accurately reflect the worth of the jobs, that proper classification and nomenclatures are followed.
HR Partnering
Keeps track of updates and developments that affect the University as an organization, including its employees.
Keeps abreast of trends and changes happening in the University and with client.
Manages and maintains relationships with clients.
Gathers information and data needed to conduct job evaluation.
Performs all other duties as may be reasonably required of the position, in accordance with the instructions of the Immediate Supervisor, and its duly authorized representative.

Knowledge of how organizations work, how it is set up, their functions
Knowledge of basic research, and basic statistics is preferred

**Education and Experience Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Psychology or business course
Knowledge of basic research, and basic statistics is an advantage
At least three (3) years of related experience
At least one (1) year of experience in reports creation and/or reports analysis
