Job Description
Our client is seeking an  HR Manager  with a proven track record in leading and enhancing Small to Medium Business (SMB) HR functions. With over 5 years of demonstrated expertise in HR management roles, the ideal candidate should possess a specialized focus on recruitment, adept handling of employee relations, and successful leadership within SMB contexts. A robust understanding of local labor laws, especially within Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, along with a command of HR best practices, is essential. In addition, exceptional communication, interpersonal finesse, and conflict resolution skills are prerequisites for this role.
Here's an overview of your future role:
Employment type: Full-time
Shift: Dayshift (Mon - Fri 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM)
Work setup: Temporary WFH
What do you need to succeed? Promoting a positive work culture and fostering a sense of community among Team Members.
Handling Team Member performance improvement and development plans.
Planning and executing Team Member engagement initiatives, such as surveys, continuous feedback, team-building, and recognition programs.
Using, managing, and maintaining performance management platforms to monitor Team Member progress and development.
Providing guidance to managers on performance evaluations, goal-setting, and career development plans.
Assisting in addressing performance issues and implementing improvement action plans.
Identifying training needs and designing Team Member development programs.
Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Developing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
Educating Team Members, Business Leaders, and managers on HR policies and promoting adherence.
Administering Team Member remuneration programs and timely communicating changes.
Collaborating with finance and payroll on remuneration-related matters.
Conducting salary benchmarking and research to maintain competitive compensation packages.
Identifying, creating, deploying, managing, and documenting solutions for continuous improvement of Team Members.
Working with stakeholders to continually evolve RGC's Culture and Core Competencies.
Delivering RGC's Culture and Competencies to all Team Members through engagement programs.
What awaits you in this role? Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and positively develop a Small to Medium Business (SMB) HR function.
Proven experience of 5+ years in HR management roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and leading SMBs.
Strong knowledge of local labor laws, particularly in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
Proficiency in HRMS (HRIS) software and MS Office Suite.
Work experience in an Australian Small to Medium Enterprise (SME).
Understanding of best practice employment trends, including talent location, costs, and global solutions.
Robust understanding of best practices in managing all aspects of the recruitment cycle.
Expertise in setting position specifications, conducting interviews, onboarding practices, and setting and documenting 30/60/90-day goals.
