QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education: Juris Doctor DegreeExperience Required
-At least 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources specializing in Labor Relations/Legal
? Training/Seminars Required
- Training and/or seminars related to the Development and Implementation of HR Policies, Employee Relations, Philippine Labor Laws, or any related topics are an advantage
? Required Professional Certification or Licensure
-Preferably a Bar Exam Passer, Leadership and Industry certifications are also an advantage
? Technical Competencies
Thorough understanding of the Philippine labor law, regulations, and guidelines related to HR and contract negotiations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skillsExcellent conflict resolution skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) RESPONSIBILITIES: I. JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
Shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, contracts, and agreements. The Legal Officer shall also ensure the company complies with the statutory and corporate governance practices and guidelines as observed in the manufacturing industry.

Legal Management
Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirementsDraft a wide variety of legal agreementsProvide advice on corporate legal issues and business mattersProvide internal advisory services to the business units and departments within the CompanyProvide commercial legal support to all departmental projects and job functionsEnsure the development of service level agreements for service support and deliveryMonitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the CompanyAssist in the development of guidelines, policies, proceduresAnalyze and review legal agreements, legislation and documentsReview and advice management on legal implications of internal policies and proceduresEnsure (internal & external) compliance with laid down guidelines, policies and procedures; investigate issues of non-compliance as may be requiredProvide advice and guidance to management as needed during labor relations contract negotiations, including drafting proposals and facilitating meetings with union representativesOversee collective bargaining procedures, including drafting, reviewing and modifying proposals, verifying legal contract terminology and suggesting additional rules and regulations as necessary
Administrative Tasks
Communicate with internal stakeholders, gathering necessary documents and information in building and settling legal issues within the department.Conduct all initial research and draft legal narrative reportsReview of Various ContractsFacilitate notarization of documentsOversee various clerical tasks, including making copies, sending emails and maintaining appointment schedules
