FULLY REMOTE WORK SETUP We're looking for an HR Generalist to handle everything from onboarding and offboarding to payroll and performance reviews. Youll also make sure we stay compliant with labor laws across different provinces and help keep the team engaged and recognized.

EmpathyAttitudeUnderstanding Objectives of this role: To ensure smooth HR operations by managing employee processes, maintaining compliance, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities: Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the start and end of the employee journey, making sure everything's done right and in line with local labor laws.Performance Reviews: Create and manage the process for performance reviews. Work with managers to make sure evaluations are effective.HRIS & Payroll: Keep employee records up to date in the HRIS (experience with HUMI is a plus). Handle payroll through Wagepoint.Hiring: Conduct high-level interviews and work with recruitment agencies to fill roles.Employee Relations & Culture: Be an advocate for the team, promote a positive culture, and lead recognition and gifting programs.Compliance: Ensure all HR activities are compliant with labor laws and regulations. Work with an HR consultant to stay updated on legal changes.Documentation: Keep all HR documents organized and ensure they meet legal standards. Required skills and qualifications: Solid experience in an HR Generalist role.
Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance.
Experience with HUMI and Wagepoint is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.Proactive in solving problems and supporting the team.
