We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing support across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and training. This role is key in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the smooth running of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting, phone interviews, offers to onboarding new hires.
Partner with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, scheduling applicants and develop job descriptions.
Conduct employee onboarding, including orientation, explaining benefit offerings, and schedule trainings.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues promptly.
Provide guidance on team members, team leaders and assist with conflict resolution
Assist in the development and execution of performance appraisals and employee development plans.
Oversee the administration of employee benefits such as, travel and internet allowance, HMO and leaves management.
Ensure organizational compliance with labor laws and maintain up-to-date employee records.
Assist in creating and updating HR policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and legal standards.
Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Stay updated on compliance, regulatory concerns, and industry trends by maintaining connections with government agencies through attending conferences.
Participate in HR improvement initiatives and contribute to employee satisfaction and engagement programs.
Coordinate employee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and the collection of company property.
Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR records.
Maintain the company's HRIS
Handle other HR-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psycology, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in Google workspace
Familiarity with HRIS, Payroll software
Knowledgeable on using Canva
