Job Brief: The Human Resource Director will organize, pilot, direct, grow, strategize, and coordinate the policies, projects, and staff of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal concurrence and execution of the organization's mission and talent strategy for PH DME.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Responsible for coordination of All Departments monthly/quarterly KPI reporting to Executives/Leaders AOP reporting coordination for all Departments for all DME Senior Leaders and Executives (quarterly) Create and deliver quarterly HR Business review presentations, including face-to-face. Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs. Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system. Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management. Develops and implements departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization. Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff and DME employees. Will be handling all HR functions across all PH DME HRIS expert and ownership (develop skills and understanding of the UKG platform). Work with HRIS analyst on configuration, training, and communication. Weekly reporting to CPO-all activities Monthly one-on-one sessions with all DME Department heads Assure job levels and salary ranges 100% accurate project assigned upon joining DME Work with HR data analytics expert to assure reporting accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for all DME HR communication working with the DME communications leader. Occasionally will report to the office depending upon Business needs. GPTW action plan coordination and execution DME Rewards and recognition program -ownership and execution Work with the Finance team to ensure processes are streamlined and efficient. Performs other duties as required. People Manager Responsibilities: Recruiting for the department's staffing needs Train and Mentor new hires under the department Provided constructive and timely evaluations of the teams' performance Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to HR team members, fostering their professional growth and development Handles discipline and termination of employees following the employee handbook or code of conduct Oversees the daily workflow of the department for PH DME Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. At least five years of PH regional director experience At least five years of Human Resources leadership roles, including successfully developing and implementing HR strategy, policies, and projects. At least four years of experience in Talent and Change Management – budgeting, succession planning At least six years of experience in compensation matrix or job grading and performance evaluation and KPI At least five years of background in HR foundations, structure, and Learning and Development Strong background in HR best practices, employment labor laws, and regulations Preferably with HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite specifically in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and other related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must have two internet connections at least 50mbps. With back-up UPS (power supply) Must be able to work the night shift (12 am or 12:30 am PH time) Travel Required: 10 – 25% Job Type: Full-time
