Overview: We are looking to grow our newly established HR Operations team in our Manila office with an HR benefits administrator to support our Americas (US and Canada) employee population. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the HR Team with all benefit functions to align with the company's vision for the future. This role would suit a motivated junior HR benefits professional, looking to further develop their HR career.
Responsibilities: Own the employee HR Shared Services Inbox and respond to all questions from colleagues in North America.
Be the first point of contact for employee queries which will entail communicating HR policies for benefits, leave of absences or payroll processes.
Benefits onboarding for North America
New Hire Orientation for North America (U.S. & Canada)
Reconcile and submit vendor billing invoices to the Finance.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with other groups such as Finance, Corporate Services, and IT and foster positive and respectful working relationships.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions to address the needs of a growing organization.
Manage benefit related updates in various systems - Workday and update/ maintain SharePoint (Company intranet)
Assist North America benefits and payroll team with internal or external plan audits.
Assist with renewal and enrollment of North America Benefits.
Draft and provide benefit verification letters to colleagues upon request.
Provide support to our North America benefits and payroll team with ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or any business-related discipline.
Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience in a HR similar role, ideally gained at a company that has seen rapid growth and continues to evolve.
Highly organized and ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
An interest and understanding of employee benefits for North America.
Demonstrate good judgement, act with integrity, credibility, and professionalism.
Effective communication and collaboration skills and able to build relationships across all levels of the business in a global operating environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and experience using Workday would be beneficial.
This role will be assigned on non-traditional shift or mid/night shift schedule and hybrid work setting.
