We are seeking an HR Benefits Administrator who will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries. You will play a critical role in managing benefits enrollment, processing changes, and coordinating with benefit vendors to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of employee benefits programs and regulations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Process new enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefit plans accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate benefit options, changes, and updates to employees through various channels, including employee meetings, email communications, and online portals. Provide guidance and assistance to employees regarding their benefit options, eligibility criteria, coverage details, and enrollment procedures. Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including preparing communication materials, conducting enrollment meetings, and assisting employees with benefit selections. Manage the enrollment process for new hires, including eligibility verification, enrollment forms distribution, and enrollment system updates. Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators. Collaborate with benefit providers to resolve issues, facilitate claims processing, and ensure compliance with service level agreements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits programs, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA. Prepare and distribute required benefit notices, disclosures, and reports to employees and regulatory agencies as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records, including enrollment data, coverage elections, beneficiary designations, and premium deductions. Generate reports and analyze data to monitor benefit utilization, costs, and trends. Assist in the development and implementation of benefit policies, procedures, and guidelines. Document benefit processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. Provide responsive and customer-focused support to employees regarding benefit inquiries, claims issues, and coverage questions. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or related roles. Thorough understanding of employee benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in benefits administration software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and analyze benefit data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in employee benefits administration. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
