Role Summary: Applies technical and functional HR knowledge to the improvement and maintenance of the Lawson system. Duties and Responsibilities: Inputting employee data into the Lawson system. Follow up on any discrepancies that exist on the paperwork received or data found in the system and make appropriate corrections. Run daily audits and review data entered the prior day (by all HR staff) was entered into the system completely and accurately. Research errors, contact the appropriate individual for further information, and make appropriate corrections in the system. Run audits each month and throughout the year verifying the integrity of the data. Responsible for Employee Number assignment for new and rehired employees Coordinates Bonding Application review and approval prior to processing new hire or rehire in the HR system. Monitors New Hire paperwork for completeness before processing new hire or rehire in the HR system. Utilize Lawson Excel tools to query and upload data into the HR System. • Coordinates response with the legal department for HR documents that must be produced pursuant to subpoena requests Maintains the Company's Official Personnel Files; adheres to Corporate Records Retention policy. Acts as subject matter expert in the field of data entry, system and data interaction, and process improvement. Provides front-line support for all HRIS and related systems questions and issues. Continuously strives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and tools and looks for alternatives that better meet business needs. Participate in Lawson system enhancements with defining requirements, testing, training, and documentation. Other tasks as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATION: Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: Experience in HRIS administration and/or Payroll processing is preferred. Efficient data entry/system skills are required. Strong PC skills with the ability to use Microsoft software including Word and Excel. Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and Lawson HRIS a plus. Qualified candidates will be able to research issues, respond to inquiries, and effectively resolve issues. Ability to keep confidential information. Ability to multi-task, while maintaining attentiveness to detail, accuracy, and poise under pressure. Detail oriented with research and basic analytical skills. Strong customer service skills, good listening, and verbal communication skills.
