Position Overview
The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting employee engagement and organizational success
Essential Job Functions
Maintain and update employee records Assist in preparing HR documents such as offer letters, contracts and policy updates Update and monitor annual training budget Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related events Post new job openings Support onboarding processes Assist with timekeeping and attendance tracking and update OOO calendar Track performance development and review process Non-essential Job Functions
· Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
· Must be computer proficient including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
· Detail oriented and able to handle confidential information of highest level
· Good planning, time management, decision making and organizational skills
· Dependable and dedicated
· Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Education/Experience One-plus years of experience in an administrative or HR-related role; associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability Ability to read, administer, and interpret general business practices. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure email. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and managers.
Math Ability Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical.
Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; experience using an HRIS system a plus.

Other Skills/Abilities Requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Does not require supervisory responsibility, but this position is expected to provide task and program direction and project supervision.

Work environment consists of an indoor, climate-controlled atmosphere. Noise level in the office is quiet to moderate. Noise level in the warehouse is moderate and occasionally loud.
