Functions/Responsibilities:

Recruitment / New Hire Process
Participating in recruitment effortsPosting job ads and organizing resumes and job applicationsScheduling job interviews and assisting interview processCollecting employment and tax informationEnsuring background and reference checks are completedPreparing new employee filesOverseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentationOrienting new employees to organization (setting up designated log-in, workstation, email address etc.)Conducting benefit enrollment processAdministering new employment assessmentsServing as a point person for all new employee questions
Payroll and Benefits Administration
Processing payroll which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the systemanswering payroll questionsfacilitating resolutions to any payroll errorsparticipating in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment
Record Maintenance
Maintaining current HR files databasesUpdating and Maintaining Employee benefits, employment status, and similar recordsMaintaining record related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsPerforming file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintainedPerforming payroll/benefit- related reconciliationsPerforming payroll and benefits audits and recommending any correction actionCompleting termination paperwork and assisting with exist interviews Education & Experience:
Graduate of any four-year course and one to three years related experience and/or training. Any equivalent combination of education and experience is an advantage.
