Hiring Strategic Growth Initiatives Counsel Associate Manager

Must Have:
• 5+ years' legal experience of relevant attorney work, including:
• Technology transactional experience either in drafting and negotiating technology focused client facing and/or vendor facing agreements (i.e.
data licensing, software as a service agreements, cloud, software license agreements, or software development agreements), in a law firm or in a fast-paced in-house legal department or military group.
• Functional understanding of legal issues related to bringing new technology and software products to market in a legally compliant manner, including those utilizing machine learning, third party data.
• Working knowledge of: (a) data and security privacy issues; (b) IP law; (c) open source licensing; and (d) general product development considerations.
• Understanding connection between in-bound agreements and client-facing agreements.
• Risk analysis, appreciation, prioritization, and management.
Good to Have:
• Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required, including with respect to data protection and privacy.
• Track record of developing trusted relationships with senior business leaders.
• Experience shaping deals and evaluating innovative commercial models for new products and services.
