Job Description
Correctly applies and initiates Holter Monitor.Performs electrocardiograms (ECGs), Treadmills Stress Test.Accurately applies and records ECGs.Correctly prepares and monitors patients during Stress/Exercise TestingEfficiently distributes Heart Station reports per department procedureMaintains accurate log of all Heart Station proceduresMaintains accurate log of all transcriptions Heart Station has processedEfficiently and correctly files departmental reportsPromptly reports to appropriate persons malfunction of equipmentDemonstrates conservative use of department suppliesContributes to a neat and orderly work environmentEfficiently coordinates scheduling of Heart Station services with the physician, patients, families and other departmentsPerforms other related duties as the need arises.
Qualification
Candidate must be a graduate of any four (4) year course, related medical course an advantage.Must have at least one (1) year related work experience; fresh graduates are welcome to applyDemonstrates essential qualities which support patient focused careComputer literate; can work under pressureMust have good oral and written communication skills.Familiarity with conducting ECGs and supporting treadmills, heart monitors and device checks.
