Heart Station Clerk

Job Description
- Correctly applies and initiates Holter Monitor.
- Performs electrocardiograms (ECGs), Treadmills Stress Test.
- Accurately applies and records ECGs.
- Correctly prepares and monitors patients during Stress/Exercise Testing
- Efficiently distributes Heart Station reports per department procedure
- Maintains accurate log of all Heart Station procedures
- Maintains accurate log of all transcriptions Heart Station has processed
- Efficiently and correctly files departmental reports
- Promptly reports to appropriate persons malfunction of equipment
- Demonstrates conservative use of department supplies
- Contributes to a neat and orderly work environment
- Efficiently coordinates scheduling of Heart Station services with the physician, patients, families and other departments
- Performs other related duties as the need arises.

Qualification
- Candidate must be a graduate of any four (4) year course, related medical course an advantage.
- Must have at least one (1) year related work experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Demonstrates essential qualities which support patient focused care
- Computer literate; can work under pressure
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with conducting ECGs and supporting treadmills, heart monitors and device checks.
