**Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role**:
The Head of Merchandising is a crucial team member of the overall International and Merchandising Team.
You will primarily work with the current Brand offerings.
You must be able to analyze sales data - reporting on growth, expansion, and change in markets to ensure sell through of each product offering as well as work with each Brands to help increase sales over time in the local market.
The day-to-day responsibilities requires you to know what the market trends are and how customers tend to buy products.
Understanding and predicting these major details allows us tomake the fundamental decisions and forecasts.
This role is encouraged to fully manage brands' everyday needs from start to finish, providing them with the best partnership possible.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Maintain and continue to improve positive, tactful relationships with all brand partners, always representing the best of yourself.
In conjunction with the other members of the Merchandising Team, serve as a main resource for all brand partners as it relates to individual businesses, one-off vendor inquiries + more.
Ensure that brands are always properly visually merchandised on the platform.
Monitor and manage accurate vendor pricing to be represented on the platform.
Work cross-functionally with the Operations team to communicate any existing product updates (ex.
Price, UPC information, etc.).
Ensure proper management and timeliness of new brand launches and order submissions.
Secure brand and product exclusivity when possible.
Consistently execute competitor analysis.
Consistently execute industry trend analyses
**Skills/Qualifications**:
Thrives in fast-paced environments.
BA or BS Degree, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in a similar type of role.
Must have experience working for a beauty / wellness and cosmetics company
Proficient in English
Willing to Travel to USA for training and yearly presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentations skills (English)
Prior experience in E-Commerce necessary.
Prior experience in beauty merchandising/buying offices necessary.
Well-versed in Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to multitask and knowing how/when to prioritize workloads.
Very meticulous with attention to detail.
Articulate and clear in all communication, both internally and externally.
