The Position Head of Marketing, Philippines As the Head of Marketing based in the Philippines, you lead and oversees the Diagnostics (Dia) Marketing function and team for the assigned affiliate, focusing on creating demand and maximizing sales for the Dia portfolio. Collaborates with international business leaders, R&D, operations, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams. Directs market research and studies to support product planning and development. Analyzes industry trends, competitive developments, and business performance to define strategic issues and long-term goals. This role reports to the Country Manager and has supervisory responsibilities.
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for: Lead and manage the customer success and marketing team by implementing effective strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets, business objectives, and manage marketing budgets. Conduct market research, analyze trends, and stay updated with regulations to capitalize on opportunities and minimize competitive threats.
Develop and execute creative marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels, ensuring timely implementation and continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry influencers, and strategic partners, while playing a key role in achieving the RDPH 1000-day strategy.
Oversee and ensure the effective and efficient implementation of portfolio strategies, promotional materials, product launches, and inventory management, while maintaining corporate image and evolving portfolio management to world standards.
Explores and implements advanced marketing approaches by evaluating internal and external capabilities, using various channels in an integrated manner, and ensuring effective end-to-end campaign management with continuous monitoring and evaluation.
Collaborates with sales and commercial excellence functions to align execution across all channels, monitor campaign effectiveness, and stay updated on new marketing approaches, setting the team towards excellence.
Implements disease based marketing approaches and explores new ways and channels to reach out to stakeholders beyond the labs & set the marketing team capabilities to enable marketing to stakeholders beyond the lab. Actively safeguard and promote a new culture by being an agile leader and role model, building and maintaining high-performing teams, coaching and mentoring for continuous improvement, and ensuring effective communication and alignment with organizational goals.
Who You Are: Bachelor's Degree in Health/Science/Business disciplines, A Postgraduate degree in Marketing or Business is an added advantage with preference of at least 15 years' experience market knowledge in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industries coupled with an entrepreneurial flair, resilience and a growth mindset. Extensive (>15 years) leadership experience with proven skills in marketing team leadership, motivation and empathy. Experience in integrated channel and campaign management, new ways of marketing and disease marketing Demonstrated strength in agile working principles and methodologies.
