Head Of Consumer Insights Fmcg

This is a client-facing role in support of a major FMCG client.
Ultimately it entails working with the client to answer strategic business questions with data-driven insights.
You need to be able to work with different types of data, but experience with NIELSEN data is the bare minimum.
**Responsibilities**:
Be able to take a brief from client independently, understand the underlying business questions, and be able to craft an analysis plan

Analyze and interpret data together with the analytics team to arrive at fresh and actionable insights

Be able to summarize and visualize data in tables, charts, and graphs

Be able to build a story, corresponding recommendations, and delivery final reports and/or presentations to client

Lead client meetings and presentations
At least 8 years experience in similar field, with background in FMCG market research (former consumer insights manager in an FMCG or client service manager in market research agency)

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Nielsen Answers a plus

Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills

Good communication & visualization skills

Good business
- and financial acumen (including business environment and client)

High level of client service skills

Understanding of growth and brand strategy
